Hudson Grille Turns Up The Heat, Opening New Eatery In Midtown

Opening in what most recently housed The Artistry and before that The Sweet Lowdown, this will be Metrotainment's 4th location for its Hudson Grille concept. At 942 Peachtree St. in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, this eatery is a stones throw from Taco Mac at Metropolis which caters to a similar demographic but offers less variety in terms of food. Other locations include Alpharetta, Brookhaven and Perimeter Mall. Hudson Grille midtown is expected to open by mid-late fall. Repeat Atlanta!

I just wonder if this place is any good??? Taco Mac really seems to have the best wings in town.

Blech, awful, greasy food. This is one of the worst of their concepts. And for sports, in that area, you're not going to go any place other than Taco Mac.

Cheyenne Grill off Peachtree/Ptree Battle is moving to this location. It is going to be the same staff and food, etc. I'm excited, I love Cheyenne and their staff.

Taco Mac is in trouble.

Tmac has a pretty good foothold on the market in Atl. I wouldnt want to take them head on!

Does anybody know how Dantanna's is doing these days? I don't hear much. I saw they opened CNN when I was at a hockey game back in the winter. I enjoy the bar at the one in buckhead, but I wouldn't go there to eat.

Hudson Grille is in fact opening at 942 Peachtree but will have some staff from its sister eatery Cheyenne Grill. According to Metrotainment CEO Jeffrey Landau, Cheyenne Grill is working to renegotiate its lease as its nears expiration but is hopeful to have it resigned in the coming weeks. The new Hudson Grille plans to be open in time for NFL kickoff this fall. As for Dantanna's, I'm not sure how well they do on non-game days, but they sure do pack em in when there are events at the GWCC, the dome or Philips Arena. The food is better than Taco Mac but still manages to not please everyone.

What do you mean Taco Mac is hurting? Don't think so. Dantanna's does have pretty good food. Great for Happy Hour and also to watch games. Just don't think Hudson Grille is very good and don't really think many of the food at the Metrotainment concepts is good. Taco Mac has good food.

This is a joke, right? Hudson Grille has the worst food I've ever tasted. This place will never fly in Midtown. I'd rather Artistry just stay open. They won't be able to compete with Taco Mac. At least TM has a signature dish, the great Chicken Wings. Hudson Grille just has the Landau Brothers! Ugh

I'm sorry previous anonymous poster, but Metrotainment has done a brilliant job positioning their Joes on Juniper, Cowtippers, and Einsteins restaurants. They are all thriving! So your assertation that the entire group is a failure is just not correct.

I will agree that Hudson Grill offers nothing special in the world of dining, but I do not agree with your saying that everyone that works for them are idiots. I've known a lot of great friends that have worked for them and enjoyed it.

"They don't even play the sports in HD anymore."

That is a complete lie. The game you were trying to watch probably wasn't in HD.
