Bistro 57 Opening In Historic Healey Building

A new restaurant will be opening in a long vacant space in the Healey Building. Bistro 57 will be opening in the Fairlie-Poplar District at 57 Forsyth Street within the next month or so. Offices occupy the first two floors of The Healey Building, with residential units comprising the other 14 floors. Bistro 57 will feature a French-American menu, initially serving lunch and dinner with plans to expand to breakfast should they see the demand for it. Bistro 57 opens in a space that last housed a restaurant some 18 months ago: hopefully the neighborhood will now support it. The restaurant owner (who has purchased a condo unit there) said they plan to seat a total of 60, most inside with additional tables in the condo lobby. With lunch prices in the $7-8 range and a three course dinner for about $25, this sounds like a great idea for the area. ToNeTo Atlanta
