Things Are Shaping Up At Lenox, Skechers Opening

Skechers is adding to its Atlanta presence with the addition of a retail outlet at Lenox Square. An earlier location opened at Discover Mills in Duluth followed by one at Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody in 2008. There has not been an official announcement but my sources indicate that they will occupy a space on the main mall level across from Starbucks and next to Bulgari. Skechers' website reflects the line being sold in Just For Feet, closed since the early 2000s, and Galyan's, closed since 2004 (now Dick's), so clearly it is a bit out of date. Recently a number of footwear companies have opened in Lenox Square such as taf (The Athlete's Foot) and Rockport so while the economy is still lagging, you'll have no problem finding new shoes at Lenox. "You'll have no problem finding new shoes at Lenox."??? Eli, you know the AsianCajuns won't step foot in a place that doesn't have at least a three inch heel ;)

Skechers is perfect for Lenox. They've obviously done their market research.

***Correction*** Skechers is opening at Lenox Square, though the space is different than I previously reported. Instead on the main level near Bulgari and Starbucks, they will open adjacent to the upcoming Clarks in a portion of the old "Makins". This space is on the second level near Energie / Miss Sixty. The main level space, next to Bulgari is to become a Fendi boutique. Sources indicate that Skechers will open in the coming weeks and Fendi will open mid summer.
