Flying Biscuit Soars OTP Into Alpharetta

Barbara Juhan, owner of the Flying Biscuit Sandy Springs, is opening a second location, this time in Roswell / Alpharetta. Her Sandy Springs location (pictured) just celebrated its one year anniversary and was recently joined in the shopping center by Atlanta's first Boardwalk Burger & Fries. As with Juhan's Sandy Springs location, her new location will be modeled after the original Flying Biscuit in Candler Park and founder Delia Champion will oversee the decor. Juhan's new location should not be completely new to readers of this site, as it was the former home of Artuzzi's Italian Kitchen. Interestingly, on the opposite end of the shopping center, was another fast-casual failure, Mama Fu's Asian House. This past December that space became Barberitos. Having never visited a Barberitos myself, I've heard only good things about this expanding "Southwestern Grille" chain based in Athens. With Barberitos open and Flying Biscuit opening soon, things are looking up for the area in terms of casual dining options. Located at 10779 Alpharetta Highway, Suite 220, Flying Biscuit is tentatively opening May 23rd.
