Fox Bros. Rib Joint hopes to find an alternate location for their new eatery that was to be located in the former Maddy’s location, near Suburban Plaza. Buckhead locations are being considered, but no decisions have been finalized. ( Decatur Metro )
Swit Bakery & Cafe is changing its name and concept -- West Midtown’s Swit Bakery & Cafe, which opened last spring, will soon be changing both its name and concept. It will convert from a bakery to a bistro and bar. No word on why the change is taking place or what the new name will be. ( AJC )
Fig Jam gets new chef, new location -- Fig Jam Kitchen & Bar is making changes by naming Andy Thoms as the new executive chef. It will also make a move to a smaller, more casual 2000 square foot space at 1010 Peachtree. Fig Jam opened earlier this year and was already a reconcept itself, having replaced Baroni. No word on if there is already someone in line for the space they will soon vacate. ( AJC )

Yes, I believe Swit did open in March. Cute shop but very similar to West Egg and clearly lesser known.
