Bojangles' Bringing More Biscuits to the 'Burbs

Bojangles' is planning additional Atlanta-area locations.

Charlotte, North Carolina-based Bojangles' has plans for at least two additional Atlanta area locations in the coming months.  The popular chicken & biscuit eatery has a number of suburban and rural Georgia locations, but has only recently made inroads into metro Atlanta.  Bojangles' plans to open its Duluth location in mid December, followed by their Peachtree Corners location shortly after Christmas.

The upcoming Tucker location on Lawrenceville Highway is not as far along, and likely won't open until late in the first quarter of next year.

The newest Bojangles' are proposed for Canton and Stone Mountain. The Canton location will open at the intersection of East Cherokee Drive & Hickory Flat Highway in place of an abandoned gas station.  The Stone Mountain location will open on US 78, aka Stone Mountain Freeway, in place of a shuttered Famous Dave's BBQ.

Both the Canton and Stone Mountain locations are in the works behind the scenes but have to make it through all necessary permitting hurdles so their exact opening timetables are still up in the air.

Stay tuned for additional updates and quite possibly a fun promotion or two as the openings draw close.

Did you know that one of the co-founders of Bojangles quit because the food was so unhealthy? He went on to open R. Thomas and runs it to this day.
