LA-based Michael Stars is the first previously unannounced retailer I've confirmed will open in Ponce City Market. The comfy clothing retailer already has a location on the first floor of Phipps Plaza and will reportedly keep that location open once the Ponce City Market store opens.
The Phipps location has moved once, and is currently located in a very temporary looking space in the former Carter Barnes salon, near Nordstrom. The store first opened in its former location at Phipps Plaza during the summer of 2010.
According to a sales associate at the Phipps Plaza location, the Ponce store is not expected to open until March 2015.
The only other known retailer (which is already open) at Ponce City Market is art supply store Binders. Well placed sources indicate that an R.E.I. store as well as a second Bonobos Guide Shop (the first will open soon in Buckhead Atlanta) are likely (but not confirmed) to open in Ponce City Market.

Do we really need stores for the 1% at Ponce City Market? Give me a break. Leave that crap to Buckhead Atlanta. How about some stores for the Middle Class?
