Popular Hang Out HOBNOB To Venture OTP

The owners of HOBNOB are bringing their popular concept OTP to Dunwoody in late summer.  The new HOBNOB will open at the SuperTarget anchored Perimeter Place shopping center in place of what was Mimi's Cafe.  As ToNeTo Atlanta reported last fall, Mimi's abruptly closed this past September after opening with the center in 2006.
The Mimi's space, 6,700 square feet, will be the largest HOBNOB to date, eclipsing even their TOWN Brookhaven location which opened last summer in the 5,571 square foot  former SMASH Kitchen & Bar.

Both Perimeter Place and TOWN Brookhaven were developed by and currently leased by real estate firm Sembler.

The original HOBNOB, which operates from a former service station turned Caribou Coffee at the corner of Monroe Drive & Piedmont Avenue, is a mere 2,061 square feet, according to Fulton county property records.

HOBNOB, owned by husband and wife team Sean and Becky Yeremyan, features a menu of "classic, Southern inspired comfort food."  In addition to tavern fare, HOBNOB also offers "one of the most comprehensive bourbon lists in the Southeast."

Given the Perimeter restaurant’s proximity to retail shops and office buildings, Yeremyan is tweaking the service model to suit its location. “Weeknights will be one of our primary focuses here,” he says.

Perimeter Place recently welcomed Sweet Tuna, a poke eatery, to the former daVia restaurant space, but restaurant spaces previously occupied by Cheeseburger in Paradise and Applebee's remain vacant.

HOBNOB Perimeter Place will serve lunch weekdays, dinner nightly, and brunch on the weekends.

Are you excited for the opening of HOBNOB in Dunwoody?  Where would you like to see HOBNOB open next?  What would you like to see open in the former Applebee's and Cheeseburger in Paradise spaces?

Please share your thoughts below.

I miss Cheeseburger in Paradise. Had some good times in that restaurant. I also enjoyed the wings/food. Better than taco mac ... Yuck!
