[COOL!] Coda Confirms First Three Concepts at The Collective

Portman Holdings and SRS Real Estate Partners earlier this morning announced the first three food concepts in The Collective in the first floor of Coda at Tech Square. They include El Burro Pollo Burrito Kitchen, by Chef Hector Santiago, Poke Burri, by Ken Yu and Seven Chan, and Wildleaf, by co-founders Chef Randy Lewis and David Morse.

El Burro Pollo Burrito Kitchen, a Mexican street food restaurant, will be serve border town style burritos with classic Mexican sauces, tacos, ceviches and other seasonal specials. El Burro Pollo Burrito Kitchen has been popular and successful as a pop-up for the last few years. This is the first brick and mortar location for this concept of Chef Hector Santiago. In addition to El Burro Burrito Kitchen, Santiago operates El Super Pan at Ponce City Market and will later this month open a second location of El Super Pan at The Battery Atlanta at SunTrust Park.  Chef Santiago previously operated Pura Vida in Poncey Highland and also consulted on the menu for Buckhead's Big Sky.

Poke Burri delivers some of Atlanta’s best sushi burritos and poke bowls along with their whimsical “secret” off-menu offerings such as the sushi donut and sushi corndog. Poke Burri’s first location on Flat Shoals Avenue in East Atlanta Village was opened by owners Ken Yu and Seven Chan in October 2016.

Wildleaf is a local healthy purveyor of fast-casual fare offering specialty salads, grain bowls, soups and smoothies. This will be Wildleaf’s third location, with a second coming soon to Atlanta Plaza in Buckhead later this fall.  The restaurant's menu features hormone-free and antibiotic-free proteins that are sustainably raised, select seasonal, local and organic produce, and over 20 dressings made in-house entirely from scratch. The original Wildleaf opened last January at Terminus 100 in Buckhead.

As many as seven other food concepts will join the aforementioned three in Coda, including one full-service restaurant along Spring Street.

Coda, which is currently under construction, is located at 771 Spring Street. The innovative mixed-use development will consist of 645,000 square feet of Class-T (tech) office space, 80,000 square feet of "high-performance computing space," and 20,000 square feet of street level retail and restaurant space.

The Collective at Coda is scheduled to open in spring 2019.

What other types of restaurants would you like to see open in Coda?
