[EXCLUSIVE] gusto! to Open Next Location in Chastain Park

Nate Hybl plans to bring his quick-serve restaurant gusto! to north Buckhead in 2020.  The new restaurant will open in The Fresh Market-anchored Roswell Wieuca shopping center on Roswell Road near Chastain Park.  Gusto will open in place of what was most recently Cheeseburger Bobby's, between Willy's Mexicana Grill and Chicken Salad Chick.
Plans call for improvements to the brick facade for better branding

Although the new location has not been officially confirmed [a sixth gusto! is referred to as "g6" on the company's website], "Gusto Chastain, LLC" was registered with the Georgia Secretary of State's office July 23 and real estate sources indicate the lease is signed.

Gusto features a menu of assorted bowls, salads and wraps, each served with your choice of protein and finished with your  favorite "gusto" or flavor (sauce).  Each entree is served with a side portion of the restaurant's popular housemade sweet potato chips.

The small chain, which Hybl started in 2014, has grown from its first outpost on Peachtree Road in south Buckhead to include three additional locations on Ponce de Leon Avenue near Ponce City Market, North Decatur Road at North Decatur Square and in West Midtown Center at 17th Street and Northside Drive in West Midtown Center.

A fifth location and first freestanding with a drive-thru is currently under construction on Peachtree Boulevard in Chamblee, just south of the Whole Foods Market-anchored Peachtree Station shopping center.  The Chamblee restaurant is currently slated to open in "late September."

The Chastain Park location, in a second generation restaurant space, marks the third time the chain has opened in place of another eatery.  Opening in such spaces often allows the new restaurant to minimize renovation expense and has likely aided the young chain in their growth.

Gusto's new location will join several other healthy eateries that have recently opened in the Chastain Park area including Chopt in Tuxedo Festival and Brack's Kitchen in Buckhead Court.

If all goes well, the new gusto! should open in early 2020.

Are you a fan of gusto!?  What is your favorite casual healthy eatery? Where would you like to see gusto! open next?

This is a love it or hate it chain. Many love it and will bring many lunch colleagues. Of those colleagues, 1/3 will love it, 1/3 will be neutral, and 1/3 will wish they just went to Chipotle and got a little extra food for the $$$.

Myself, I tend respect the passion its followers have, but tend to leave Gusto hungry and haven’t found my go-to dish.

I love Gusto. I wish they would bring it to East Cobb. Delicious! Hope they grow in numbers and succeed.
