I'm a native of this area and it has gone to hell. I'm furious. I will not go to any of the stores. I will drive to Roswell, Doraville, etc. to buy groceries and things. The gas stations are full of flat out low life thug trash including the employees. The management and/or corporate franchisers neglect those stores (Wendy's, Moe's, etc.). It f-ing sucks. There are now hobo's, and I mean HOBO's that are outcasts of downtown Atlanta... the homeless in town don't want them around, camping out on the side of Roswell Rd in the bushes and on Marta benches. I've tried to get the city to get rid of them, get them appropriate help and all... but they don't care. The same sketchy as all hell hobo's have been at Northridge area for months and months. The place is shattered economically. The employees are flat out rude corrupt trash with no education at all. This thread is 3 years old, but it's worse now... I want to make waves and kick city hall in the ass. They don't have a single thought about the health of the community. They just want to make money. It's BAD and the pandemic has just put the nail in the coffin (not that it wasn't already shitfless garbage).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-9716239674614492282017-12-22T20:24:24.753-05:002017-12-22T20:24:24.753-05:00Kroger's have become a walk in hell. The Kroge...Kroger's have become a walk in hell. The Kroger in Roswell became a run down hole in the wall when they hired new management and put in the retards. I've been a customer since my teenage years and now that I'm 57 years old and all I can say is that's it's been a rollercoaster ride to hell. With all those new people working it brought the whole establishment down. Bring back the old management so us old people can be respected and loved againAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-27802407361592787592017-10-31T20:01:57.325-04:002017-10-31T20:01:57.325-04:00Northridge Kroger aka GHETTO KROGER should have cl...Northridge Kroger aka GHETTO KROGER should have closed years ago! As a current Kroger employee that had transferred from there after 3 years so grateful to now be at a Kroger that the company cares about and maintains regularly! Northridge Kroger was tiny very neglected dirty and part of a really questionable shopping center! That part of Sandy Springs is crime infested and pardon my French just super sketchy! The decline of the Northern part of Sandy Springs Continues to worsen day by day you’re by year that area desperately needs a faceliftAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01237708376055360859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-71984515291189822552017-10-16T07:28:59.169-04:002017-10-16T07:28:59.169-04:00Kroger is below standard- FEMA prefers Walmart.Kroger is below standard- FEMA prefers Walmart.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16947239233004532559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-4697009616705118742017-10-04T18:00:20.257-04:002017-10-04T18:00:20.257-04:00Near future FEMA campsNear future FEMA campsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-49363745010882167802017-10-03T00:21:11.490-04:002017-10-03T00:21:11.490-04:00I'm not surprised at all if more Krogers close...I'm not surprised at all if more Krogers close up. Many of them need to be renivated. There are other chain of stores that need to be renivated also. I have walked into Krogers and other stores and have turned around and walked out and drive miles to another store. Just because of the cleansiness of the store. Kroger's if pretty reasonable with their prices and always have some good sales. You have to keep your store up to par, to keep customers coming back. I don't think you want to do in a dirty store. We moved here 3 1/2yrs ago and was right after we moved in they remodeled it, about the same time Toco Hills and Northlake were done, since that's where we moved from. I've heard they're talking about remodeling the entire complex, but we'll have to wait and see.Stusseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08505538262686956259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-10226880276122367682017-09-28T09:01:47.464-04:002017-09-28T09:01:47.464-04:00"Declining Sales" at the Kroger on US 78..."Declining Sales" at the Kroger on US 78 Snellville was in reality "High Theft". I must concur with you with your post. The Kroger on Wesley Chapel Road is also in need of change and the residents living there have complained about the store being
" too old " and " too small" in which it is. I don't know how true this is but it was said that they want to remodel/ recreate Kroger but the former Kmart that was next door to it got in their way(????) As much as I would like to buy that reason,I'm not as the Kroger on Flat Shoals Pkwy has been remodeled.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-49178472338472956862017-09-28T05:31:36.518-04:002017-09-28T05:31:36.518-04:00I agree with 3 and 4. I've never felt threatened going there. If crime happened as frequently as you said it does ,that Kroger would have shut down years ago. I'm also not buying into the North Hairston " declining sales and profit" mantra. The foot tragic looked the same as it did when it first opened. I just cannot see the people in the community stop going to a needed store.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-7808760831231179222017-09-27T21:24:43.578-04:002017-09-27T21:24:43.578-04:00I live in Belvedere Park just behind the Belvedere...I live in Belvedere Park just behind the Belvedere Plaza Kroger but I prefer to drive to a East Lake Publix. I have visited this Kroger many times in the last 18 years, only issue with this place is its size and building age. Wal-mart across the street probably doesnt help either taking away sales. Those plans have been put on hold for various reasons. There used to be the old S&S Cafeteria and the Motel 6 located on this vast property to make room for the expanded new Kroger, Those building are in the process of being torn down. There used to be a large package store on this property, but like the motel, it too has been torn down.

Now, its a wait and see attitude as to what is going to happen with Kroger.

The Kroger on Memorial and South Hairston was in a very dangerous area with crimes occurring on daily basis.
