I loved hearing the true stories behind the songs. Once the ownership changed and eventually the music left, I quit going. Such a shame to see a once successful business be lost due to poor ownership and food. Everything was TERRIBLE, from food to service to (especially) the BBQ sauce, which tasted like strawberry Kool Aid (never could figure that one out).

The earlier comment about the change in ownership in 2008 explains a lot.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-85914662639634790772018-01-03T00:49:25.133-05:002018-01-03T00:49:25.133-05:00The Cue is owned by Paul and Doreen Doster. Paul’s connections in Nashville was the reasons they had huge artist perform there. Bill greenwood was never apart of the everyday operations of the swallow. Greenwood’s completely overrated besides their pies. I heard he was horrific to work for which is sad because the employees at the swallow were treated like family There are many stories about Bill but I won’t waste my breathe about him. ESPE...Agreed Bill Greenwood was a complete asshole. ESPECIALLY to the employees. The wool was totally pulled over peoples eyes as to the "farm to table" aspect. Regardless of that, it's going to be a shame to ONCE AGAIN see Roswell give in to the power of the $$$ and probably build more over priced housing or whatever. Roswell lost its small town charm once they decided to build that Vickers monstrosity. Tear down more small houses and businesses.... bye bye Roswell. It's SICKENING. No other place measured up for the kind of food offered.

There are many styles of 'cue. They can be different from each other and both be very good.

I'd love to know how many people left Greenwood's after a meal thinking the food or pie was overrated. I'm guessing it's a tiny fraction of 1%. Reading that made me laugh.

I hope Bill is healthy and happy, and will be offering his amazing food and pies somewhere I can find them.
Renhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15379592791185743328noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-16664674570104077532018-01-02T14:58:54.793-05:002018-01-02T14:58:54.793-05:00Local buzz, i.e. Nextdoor, claims retirement and/o...Local buzz, i.e. Nextdoor, claims retirement and/or sold/selling land to the city.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18241380125623685442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-82064027265353357832018-01-02T14:53:50.762-05:002018-01-02T14:53:50.762-05:00Both were tremendously overrated IMHO. Town planners of course want to up density with a hotel etc. to maximize revenue. They are going to do what they are going to do and nothing can stop them. jeff a. taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12318074644131544308noreply@blogger.com
