The ambiance was wonderful and the coffee is so much better than Starbucks! Once this area settles down with the rerouting of Windsor, this would be a great spot for an independent coffee shop. How about Octane?Rondanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-14645174511488616292015-12-14T16:42:57.757-05:002015-12-14T16:42:57.757-05:00FYI

You see a Starbucks on every corner here. I guess that is what people here are accustomed to. Wish there were more Caribous locations. I drive 30min just to enjoy Caribou!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00991101310937017340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-65460762192240011202015-12-09T09:07:32.674-05:002015-12-09T09:07:32.674-05:00Sad to see Caribou go. Doesn't Atlanta have enough of those anyway?? At least there is still a Catibou at West Paces and Northside. Love that location although it is off my beaten path.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-77854843272877470702015-12-08T22:45:34.800-05:002015-12-08T22:45:34.800-05:00Would love to see a Peet's at Gateway. They made it fun to go through the drive-thru at both locations. Much better than Starbucks. Thank you Sandy Springs developers, who are driving out so many of the local and smaller chain retailers.Janhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17636774960655179060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-84006037578611480882015-12-08T16:46:27.136-05:002015-12-08T16:46:27.136-05:00The staff were wonderful and the coffee is far sup...The staff were wonderful and the coffee is far superior to Starbucks which is very bitter. We were just talking yesterday about how we don't understand why so many coffeehouse locations have closed. We both feel that it's an excellent chain coffeeshop in every way - superior products and ambiance to Starbucks. I hope the last few locations in Atlanta can hang in there!jamiet27https://www.blogger.com/profile/06469947161668997325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-57772583593494031722015-12-02T08:52:53.511-05:002015-12-02T08:52:53.511-05:00Would love to see Peet's move in.Would love to see Peet's move in.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-86887795759111778422015-12-01T18:05:33.543-05:002015-12-01T18:05:33.543-05:00Have to believe there will be a Caribou/Einstein r...Have to believe there will be a Caribou/Einstein re-boot at the East Cobb site which is shuttered. Space was split and clumsy and Einstein staff took WAY TOO LONG to fill orders. Still CC closed first despite having a steady biz as far as I could see, plus that all important drive thru. Maybe rent greed killed it. Dunno. Do know that space has been utterly empty for a couple years now. CC is SO much better than Charbucks if you like actual coffee. As good as boutiques? No way. But I have a hard time believing that Johnson Ferry location can't do coffee and breakfast at a profit.jeff a. taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12318074644131544308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-39240711898718004462015-12-01T13:39:27.218-05:002015-12-01T13:39:27.218-05:00I thought Peets was going to start opening locatio...I thought Peets was going to start opening locations in town?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06532550187316261562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-55049197483595644982015-12-01T09:26:54.916-05:002015-12-01T09:26:54.916-05:00Atlantic House, under construction in Midtown at 1...Atlantic House, under construction in Midtown at 14th St & W Peachtree, has signage indicating Caribou will open there when the building is completed. Caribou's holding company purchased Einstein and a giant Co-branding initiative is underway. I expect to see Sandy Springs (near willys/publix) and Ansley Mall and a few others get co-branded.
