Just a whole makeover for that mall, building on Payless's orange-brown-yellow theme that was so au courant in 1978.The Anti-Gnostichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04386593803225823789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-41948613363137880612011-03-07T13:48:54.240-05:002011-03-07T13:48:54.240-05:00And who knows if they could get a new sign past th...And who knows if they could get a new sign past the City of Dunwoody folks. The new sign ordinance is not as business friendly as it should be.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-70761577081509742522011-03-06T10:26:30.011-05:002011-03-06T10:26:30.011-05:00As a former member of the now defunct merchant'...As a former member of the now defunct merchant's association board of directors at the mall, I recall them saying that they never wanted to update the sign due to the cost involved. This was the same reasoning given for not putting a more appropriate and well placed mall elevator in the mall.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-41050958621241952412011-03-05T12:08:19.388-05:002011-03-05T12:08:19.388-05:00I actually don't mind that big marquee that Pe...I actually don't mind that big marquee that Perimeter has on Ashford-Dunwoody. I mean, I agree that it could be updated with an LED screen, but just don't dispose of it completely. To me, that sign is a classic part of the mall. Just my opinion.Treshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14349221214089476575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-29534297365517253192011-03-05T01:32:17.078-05:002011-03-05T01:32:17.078-05:00@ Tres,

Payless adjacent to Dillard's itself, and Aeropostale, down from it towards the food court.

As for Perimeter, I too am surprised by its lineup ( and outdated signage as mentioned in the comment above) It's unclear just how much space Z Gallerie will be taking as their coming soon signage only covers a small portion of that side of the hall, clearly not all that they will occupy. Here's to hoping something more meaningful takes the former PH8 space as well as the former Falcons 365 store on the second level.

Thanks as always for your contributions and for reading the site!Atlantan99https://www.blogger.com/profile/06115362060612910966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-3153380515360974202011-03-04T21:57:50.968-05:002011-03-04T21:57:50.968-05:00I can vouch that Aeropostale will be on the lower ...I can vouch that Aeropostale will be on the lower level in the Dillard's wing. I was at Perimeter yesterday and saw the "construction billboard" for it.

As nice as Perimeter is, I'm surprised that it lacks some stores. Aeropostale is just now coming on board; I would've thought that a Hollister would open up where Love Culture is ultimately going; The old Mayor's space would make a good Pottery Barn (Is Z Gallerie taking up that whole strip of stores, though?); I would suggest Williams-Sonoma, but with Sur La Table already present, it may be redundant.Treshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14349221214089476575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-72273844803110128862011-03-04T21:50:36.549-05:002011-03-04T21:50:36.549-05:00What's up with the crappy electronic sign for ...What's up with the crappy electronic sign for Perimeter?
