It would be a shame to lose them. Why aren't developers interested in all of the nearby abandoned lots and retail spaces?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-10398667047979412872016-08-18T20:19:17.813-04:002016-08-18T20:19:17.813-04:00Who wants to buy a town home in a known flood pron...Who wants to buy a town home in a known flood prone parcel? I'm sure the home owners off of Orion and Hollywood don't like the idea but at least it's on a big road and should have little impact on traffic.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05444971767884532427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-41004925898072401612016-08-15T10:40:33.594-04:002016-08-15T10:40:33.594-04:00I suppose it could be a decent location for a town...I suppose it could be a decent location for a town home development. It does place people close to Decatur without being right in the middle of everything which I assume would mean reduced prices. As for traffic it would be near the Stone Mountain freeway and I-285 so it could mean less surface street traffic. I also wonder if the location might help spur redevelopment at North DeKalb mall. Bottom line the property is not going to sit undeveloped and this might be better than another small strip mall. Hamnoreply@blogger.com
