The new owner, Jack Frost- yes that is actually his name- has no idea what he's doing. He is constantly running around the bar like a cracked out chicken with his head cut off. Not to mention, it would appear, he thinks we're all too stupid to notice that he ripped off the entire locos menu by "so cleverly" changing the names of the menu items. He must have tapped into his creative side, naming things like the pork chop sandwich, Austin's pork chop sandwish (Austin being his dog). And of course, he named one of the salads after his girlfriend, i guess he owed her one for loaning him a bunch of money and letting him open the place in her name. Needless to say, the staff is still as awesome as ever, at least the ones he hasn't fired yet...they've just lost a little bit of their spark. I wouldn't recommend going their unless your eating for free or something, but if you do, make sure to tip your waiter.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-31489197705387208272009-08-19T10:55:57.112-04:002009-08-19T10:55:57.112-04:00Driving by last night, its finally open and appear...Driving by last night, its finally open and appeared crowded. The guy with the white hair is Jack Frost or Merton Frost or whatever name he is using that day, nothing is ever in his name cuz everybody is after him that he screwed over. I wouldn't eat or drink there if it was free. Ladies be careful- he has a line of crap a mile long and will take you for everything you got.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-25071966295872176652009-07-25T09:23:11.941-04:002009-07-25T09:23:11.941-04:00we went by last night to grab dinner . . .they are...we went by last night to grab dinner . . .they aren't anywhere near opening: paper on the windows, unfinished wiring . .. another perpetual "coming soon"Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-13909306204738539442009-07-21T13:35:17.228-04:002009-07-21T13:35:17.228-04:00That sucks. As for if it will be "high end" like Dantanna's, doubtful, given the minimal visible changes that were made to the building's exterior and dining area.ProShop99http://www.blogger.com/profile/16296140882750345422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-579719431387122896.post-4224380021885234292009-07-20T09:41:13.718-04:002009-07-20T09:41:13.718-04:00Interesting... I sure hope that the re-branding of this prime location next to all those great live music locals goes well. I always loved walking down to Loco's for lunch on the days the bands weren't choice.Andyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04099896026767195874noreply@blogger.com
