The General to Ally With Napoleon's at Vista Grove

Napoleon will soon have an unlikely neighbor, the General... Dollar General, that is. Napoleon's Grill recently opened in Vista Grove shopping center on LaVista Road and it will soon be joined by a Dollar General store. Whereas Napoleon's opened in a portion of the old Village Market grocery store, Dollar General is opening in a space that closed earlier this year after being becoming a Rite Aid after a long life as an Eckerd. Having grown up in the neighborhood, it's strange to see the mix of tenants now in this shopping center. Workout Anytime , a yoga studio, a liquor store, a Subway and new eatery Sprig are among the newer additions to the center. While Dollar General is not the most ideal addition to the center, I'm sure that the neighboring businesses are happy to have another mid-size tenant take the shuttered drug store space.

With over 9,100 locations in 35 states, Georgia ranks high in store count with over 500 Dollar General stores, second only to Texas, where the chain has over 1000 locations.

The store plans to open Sunday, so stop in and share your two cents in our comments section below. ToNeTo Atlanta
