[OPENING ALERT] Four Fat Cows to Open Buckhead Shop This Month

Four Fat Cows ice cream & bakery will open its first ITP location Monday, October 21st on Pharr Road in Buckhead.  The new Four Fat Cows will open near the intersection of Pharr and Peachtree Roads, not far from the former Peachtree Road location of The Cheesecake Factory.  Specifically,  the new Buckhead location will open at 30 Pharr Road, adjacent to both Barking Hound Village and Karma Farm.  Karma Daisy, a sibling restaurant of Karma Farm, previously operated from the space.  The Cookie Studio and Fuoco di Napoli, a pizzeria, also operated from 30 Pharr Road in the past.
Offering indulgent ice cream flavors such as Nutella cookie dough and chocolate bourbon pecan pie, as well as gluten-free baked goods, Four Fat Cows’ Buckhead location will serve as a retail store as well as their production facility.  The shop will offer both in house made ice cream as well as select custom flavors crafted in Brookhaven by Atlanta's Greenwood Ice Cream.
Robyn Rowles opened the original Four Fat Cows on North Main Street in Alpharetta during the summer of 2014.  A second location opened in Athens last February, followed by a third at the Marietta Square Market this past March. Earlier this July, a fourth location opened in Dunwoody Village in Dunwoody, in what was a Carvel a several  years ago.
Robyn, is the CEO of the business, and her son and business partner Brenden Higbee is CFO.  Both Robyn and her son suffer from celiac disease and accordingly, a significant portion of their menu is gluten-free.

The Buckhead location of Four Fat Cows will act as a production facility and will produce ice cream and other pastries (brownies, cookies, cupcakes, etc.) in the back, with retail pastries and ice cream as well as a curated selection of other retail goods in the front.  The shop will also offer coffee from Batdorf & Bronson.

The opening of Four Fat Cows in Buckhead comes on the heels of the Buckhead debut of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams at nearby Buckhead Market Place on West Paces Ferry Road.  Four Fat Cows Buckhead will seemingly mark the return of a local ice cream shop to the area following the closure of the beloved Gorin's Homemade Ice Cream at Phipps Plaza about ten years ago.
Several other Four Fat Cows locations are in the works over the next eighteen months or so in the greater metro Atlanta area, including one expected to open late this fall at the new Madison Yards project on Memorial Drive in Reynoldstown.
The Buckhead shop's Grand Opening will begin at noon on Monday, October 21st with several giveaways.  Hours at the Buckhead location will be:  Sunday - Thursday from 12pm - 9pm and Friday - Saturday 12pm - 10pm.
