[OPENING ALERT] Capital One Cafe Opening Today at Lenox Square

Capital One Cafe plans to open its first Atlanta area branch today, December 18, at 9AM at Lenox Square in Buckhead.  The  branch, which ToNeTo Atlanta exclusively reported on this past February, replaced Panera Bread, which closed December 17, 2018 after more than 15 years in business.   The new Capital One Cafe is the first in Georgia and 40th overall for the growing banking concept.
"Capital One Cafés are inviting spaces where you can bank, get answers to your financial questions, recharge your devices and connect to on-the-house Wi-Fi—all with a handcrafted Peet’s® beverage and local pastry in hand. Capital One cardholders get 50% off Peet's® handcrafted beverages everyday. With extended hours, ATMs and plenty of space to get comfortable, our Cafés are built to fit your life."

The Lenox Square location marks the first Capital One Cafe to be located within an enclosed mall.  A second such location is slated to open early next year in Scottsdale Fashion Square in Scottsdale, Arizona.

A branch representative tells ToNeTo Atlanta that the Wednesday opening will be "soft" and that a Grand Opening is planned for January 18.
