Atlanta Fish Market To Become "City" Fish Market?

Recent talk of Atlanta Fish Market being renamed to match Buckhead Life's soon to open City Fish Market in Boca Raton Florida has people thinking, why? Atlanta Fish Market, with its colossal fish on Pharr Road has been a staple of ATLANTA since it opened, and to rename it so generically seems quite counterintuitive to say the least. You have a successful establishment, not an easy feat these days, why change what is a proven success? Save a few dollars on stationary and matches? Come on, would you go watch the "City Braves"? Repeat Atlanta!

Totally agree! This is a Bonehead move by the Buckhead Life Restuarant Group...The Atlanta Fish Market is a fully branded establishment. Everyone's still going to call it the Atlanta Fish Market anyway. This wreaks of a "consultant"!!

It is because we are going nationwide and Atlanta isn't ther name of every city. It's too excluding.

By "we" I presume you mean Buckhead Life Restaurant Group...? For me and it seems other in the metro area, its all well and good to rename others in new markets, but to rename the Atlanta outpost so blandly seems almost as bad as renaming the Atlanta Braves, simply the "city" Braves.

If it is about the city..Then name the new Fish Market Boca Fish Market, and it's proceeders after each city. That way it's original but yet stay's true to the locals of the City.
