This IS Big! - PGA Tour Superstore Closes Buckhead Location

PGA Tour Superstore, a giant golf and tennis retailer with locations across the U.S. from Atlanta to Myrtle Beach, Plano and Scottsdale among others, has closed one of its Atlanta area stores. Opened in late 2006 in a portion of the building that had housed a short-lived EXPO Design Store by The Home Depot, the store is now closed. Originally the land had a Sam's Club on it, later the EXPO and most recently the PGA Store, now comes word the store was doing well but closed as a result of the pending sale of the land to an apartment developer. Atlanta did have the greatest number of PGA Store locations with 4 (Kennesaw, Duluth, Roswell and Buckhead) and the Buckhead store was not actually in Buckhead per se, located off Lindbergh Dr. most easily seen by a north bound MARTA train, but its sad to see it go. Repeat Atlanta!

Its not that sad because something greater than Sams, EXPO or PGA was built, the House of God. Passion City Church was born and we praise Jesus with all of our souls.
