Egg Harbor Cafe Drops Anchor In Buckhead

Lincolnshire, IL based Egg Harbor Cafe plans to open in Buckhead later this year. Expanding from their home base in the midwest, the new Buckhead location will be their 16th when it opens this fall. Started in December 1985 in Hinsdale, IL, the chain started slowly. Slated to occupy 3900 s/f in the former Sears automotive building at 102 West Paces Ferry Rd., they will be a stone's throw from J. Christopher's, about a mile from the Flying Biscuit in Terminus, and about 3 miles from Flying Biscuit's Paces / Northside location. Egg Harbor's menu is a little larger than J. Christopher's or Flying Biscuit's with a wide variety of egg dishes, crepes, sandwiches, soups and something I look for, fresh squeezed orange juice! The chain currently has 15 locations (14 in Illinois and 1 in Wisconsin) and is in their third generation of ownership. Existing units are only open from 6:30AM - 2:30 PM for breakfast and lunch. Look for this location to serve as the model for future expansion in the south. ToNeTo Atlanta

Another broken egg cafe in Louisiana is much better. The best.
