Moda 404 Transports to New Peachtree Road Location
Moda 404, currently located in the street level of Eclipse Condos across from The Atlanta Fish Market on Pharr Road, will open this Saturday in their new location closer to Lenox Square at 3145 Peachtree Road in the Buckhead Commons Shopping Center across from Wendy's. They will be on the right side of the shopping center, opposite Subway and adjacent to Topaz Jewelers. Going from Atlanta Fish Market as a neighbor to Wendy's and Subway is far from an upgrade, but the Peachtree Road exposure should help. Moda 404 is an upscale mens boutique and carries clothes, shoes and accessories from designer lines such as Dolce & Gabanna, Alessandro Dell 'Acqua, Just Cavalli and Robin's Jeans. Catering to the hip-hop demographic: largely African American, wealthy and stylish, Moda 404 seems to have carved out a niche in the market. Moda 404 was one of many local businesses targeted by the so called "Blue Jean Bandits" last year, but new legislation passing the Senate this week could land such perpetrators in jail for up to 20 years with a potential six figure fine, so there's hope for Buckhead boutique retail.
