Even in there tough economic times, designer denim has remained popular. Phipps is already home to Liz Claiborne's Lucky Brand store and Lenox Square boasts Atlanta's only 7 For All Mankind (VF Corporation) and first True Religion retail stores. Rock & Republic, another well known designer denim label is unlikely to follow suit as it has but two retail stores open and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection this past April.
The addition of Joe's Jeans will further Phipps Plaza's (and Lenox Square) reputation as the fashion capital of the south. In recent months, Phipps Plaza has seen both Michael Stars and Vince open their doors, and there is talk of still more to come. Already, the mall is home to Atlanta's only Tory Burch, Juicy Couture, Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Valentino and Theory, to name just a few. With the large former GAP spaces still empty, there is still plenty of room to add other retailers. While I'm unsure of the exact location of the Joe's Jeans store, it's likely that it will be next to the upcoming Pampolina kids store in the second level in part of the former Tommy Hilfiger / The Sharper Image space. I should know the exact location in the coming days. ToNeTo Atlanta

Confirmation today of location:
Joe’s Jeans will be going into a space near Nordstrom on the first level of the mall (in the former Oilily space).
