Robert and Vicky Pasmanick, who re-opened the popular sandwich shop downtown in 2010 after a fourteen year absence, will close the the rebooted restaurant this coming Friday January 18th. The restaurant served a number of fresh made sandwiches along with Jack's famous cheese grits, and was open for breakfast and lunch. Jack's was a great alternative to the chain offerings of the center and will surely be missed by many.
When Jack's opened it took a portion of what had been an Atlanta Bread Company. There is no word on what will now replace Jack's.
Did you patronize Jack's in their Peachtree Center location? Will you miss their cheese grits? What would you like to see open in its place? Please share your thoughts below.

I work in the building and walked past Jack's every single day. I ate there a few times, but I was never overly impressed by the food. That being said, I'll be sad to see it go. I always knew I could get a nice breakfast on a morning when I was running late. I hope they don't fill the space with another fast food chain with horrible-for-you food.
