UPDATE : Novo Pizza to Feature More Than Just Pizza

New information on Novo Pizza in Dunwoody.

Riccardo Ullio contacted me after reading my post to let me know that his latest restaurant will be far more than your typical casual pizzeria.  Novo will feature a number of fresh made pastas like ravioli as well as risotto and antipasto.

Riccardo made crystal clear that Novo Pizza should not be thought of a "fast casual" pizza joint.  Although Riccardo would not say it himself, it would seem as though Novo will be a blend of sorts between his two Inman Park eateries, Sotto Sotto and Fritti.

Ullio also confirmed that Novo will feature counter service.

Novo will also have a an Enomatic wine serving system.  An Enomatic system is capable of preserving wine for up to 4 weeks, extending the freshness of wines by the glass for restaurateurs and consumers alike.

The revolutionary Enomatic system is available at few locations in Atlanta, but at least one other upcoming Atlanta area establishment will offer something similar to it.  Vine & Tap, which plans to open next month in the former Pizzeria Venti on Lenox Road, will feature the Caravin wine system along with light bites and assorted beers.  The Caravin system is smaller and less expensive than the Enomatic system but reportedly functions similarly.
