Lenox Square Lands Another Luxury Label

Fashion icon setting up shop at Lenox Square.

CH Carolina Herrera is said to be taking the remaining portion of the former Gregory's at Lenox Square.  The specific space, 3024A, is on the main level adjacent to Neiman Marcus.  As I announced last week, electric car maker Tesla will occupy the remaining space.

There had been speculation that CH would be entering the Atlanta market, but many insiders thought it would land at Buckhead Atlanta.  Sources say that CH was in talks to open at Buckhead Atlanta, reportedly in a roughly 2100 square foot space, but that in the end, they opted for a 3195 square foot space at Lenox Square.  My research indicates that a 2100 square foot store would have been on the smaller side for the brand given that their other stores measure 3500 sq'+.

Instead of the new Buckhead Atlanta project, CH Carolina Herrera will join Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo and Burberry, among others, in the Luxury Wing of Lenox Square.  The CH brand launched in 2008 as the ready to wear line of couture label Carolina Herrera.

Carolina Herrera was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1939 and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2009.  Herrera launched her flagship label Carolina Herrera in 1980 and has since dressed royalty, first ladies and countless celebrities.   In 2008, Herrera was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

Currently there are 16 domestic locations of CH Carolina Herrera, including four in south Florida.

Sources say that the upcoming location at Lenox Square will open by year end.
