Bits & Bites

Atlanta Fresh Artisan Creamery has introduced two new flavors of their popular locally produced Greek yogurt. Lemon Custard Royale and Chia & Super Berry, a new no sugar added option, join existing flavors such as Chocolate Rocket and Peach & Ginger.  The Chia & Super Berry flavor features Chia, Goji, Acai, Blueberry, pomegranate and more, and is the first of what could be a variety of "no sugar added" flavors.  Previously, Atlanta Fresh yogurt was available in assorted flavors in nonfat, 2% and whole milk versions.

Dallas, Texas-based Topgolf plans to open their newest Atlanta area location August 14th on the Westside. Located on Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard, the Westside location joins the existing area Topgolf location in Alpharetta, which opened in 2013.  Including the Westside location, the company has sixteen locations open with another nine coming soon.

Ray's Rio Bravo, the reboot of the once popular local eatery,  officially opened for dinner Monday after a number of reportedly well received dry runs over the weekend.  The restaurant was originally slated to open in time for Cinco de Mayo but suffered a number of setbacks.

Corepower yoga plans to open a 4,139 square foot space at Brighten Park (fka Loehmann's Plaza).  Other Corepower locations are coming to the Shops Around Lenox in Buckhead and Ponce City Market.

Retailer Guess has opened in their new, larger store at Lenox Square.  The new Guess replaces the short-lived C. Wonder on the mall's main level near Bloomingdale's.   The former Guess space, near Fendi and Gap, will soon become home to a new Tory Burch store.  The new Guess store is slightly larger than the previous location.

After a slow start, the conversion of the former Marriott Courtyard in Vinings to Hotel Indigo is moving along. According to the property's website, the Hotel Indigo is now accepting reservations for arrivals on or after November 1st, 2015.

For the Halloween season, Spirit Halloween Superstore will occupy the former Staples at Lenox Marketplace on Peachtree Road in Buckhead.  Staples closed in the center late last year as well as in a number of other centers around town.  In years past, Spirit has occupied the former Tower Records at Buckhead Place, today occupied by Salon Studios. There will surely be other seasonal/short term leases for other Spirit stores across metro Atlanta.
