Suburban eatery to open in midtown
Twisted Kitchen, a fast casual restaurant with one location in Kennesaw, plans to open a second location early next year in midtown. The midtown location of Twisted Kitchen will open alongside Insomnia Cookies in the street level retail portion of the new University House Midtown at 930 Spring Street.
The restaurant will be roughly 3,800 square feet and will also feature a small patio.
The first Twisted Kitchen which opened in mid 2012, is located on Ernest Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw.
Twisted Kitchen features a menu largely centered on "twisted" pastas, wraps and salads.
Among the pasta offerings are "TK SKILLET LASAGNA:" marinara sauce, meatballs, ricotta, romano, mozzarella, garlic & spinach and "5 CHEESE TK ZITI:" twisted vodka sauce, mozzarella, mild cheddar, pecorino, Romano, crumbled blue cheese, & ricotta.
Twisted Kitchen has developed a following among students at Kennesaw State University, something they will hope to replicate with the students of midtown's Georgia Tech.
Have you been to Twisted Kitchen? If so, what were your thoughts? What else would you like to see open in University House Midtown?

Twisted Kitchen is technically in Marietta, in the 30066 zip code. Just over the line from Kennesaw.
