Bonefish Grill, an upscale seafood restaurant, has closed its location in Johns Creek. The restaurant, located in Addison Place Shops at 11705 Jones Bridge Road, closed as of this past Monday, January 24. The restaurant was located in the same center as popular local breakfast joint Hen Mother Cookhouse as well as CVS Pharmacy.
A Bonefish Grill representative late Monday responded to our request for comment saying:
"Our lease expired, and our last day of business was Sunday, January 23."
The representative went on to say:
"We appreciate the community’s support the past decade years and hope to see guests at our Buford, Snellville, or Akers Mill location."
The closure of the Johns Creek Bonefish Grill marks the second closure for the chain in metro Atlanta. In 2014, the company pulled the plug on their attempt at penetrating the intown market when, after just 15 months in business, it closed the location at Emory Point (now "The Point") on Clifton Road near Emory University.
Bonefish Grill continues to operate seven other locations in Georgia including those in at The Shoppes at Webb Gin in Snellville, Akers Mill Square in Atlanta, and near Mall of Georgia in Buford.

All I hope is that we get a good local spot to open there. Enough of the chains in this area, lets support local businesses!
Seems strange a good higher end seafood restaurant located in the more affluent upper Northside would close and abandon a good market. Residents in this area certainly aren’t driving to those other distant locations. Maybe the parent company, Blooming Brands is going to close all these restaurants as the leases expire. They also own Outback’s and Carrabbas Italian.
It was in a bit of an odd location. It was in a strip center not near many other restaurants.
That being said, there's a ton of local restaurants that are a lot better in the area.
They certainly had a lot of traffic.
Exposure to Hen Mother Cookhouse a plus. Totally corporate decision.
