Kennesaw area residents are in for a sweet treat! Sugar Shane's, a popular intown cookie shop, has signed their first franchise with plans to open near Kennesaw Mountain in February. The new shop - 1635 Old Highway 41 - is located in a 1,253 square foot space in the Publix-anchored Barrett Parkway shopping center.
The new location will pilot several new offerings including coffee from Smyrna's own Bolivar Coffee, special cookies and cookie cakes exclusive to Kennesaw, as well as other baked goods that will be introduced in the months to come.
Quillin and the Doziers are both looking to open additional locations in metro Atlanta but are being incredibly selective about where to do so. Growth will for the time being be centered on metro Atlanta, but Quillin seems open to also exploring options in rural/suburban areas across portions of Georgia and neighboring states.
ToNeTo Atlanta founder Eli Zandman is pleased to have had the privilege of working with Sugar Shane's and the professional team at Retail Planning Corporation, landlord at Barrett Parkway, in securing this lease.
Sugar Shane's Kennesaw is slated to open Saturday February 1017.
Have you ever had a Sugar Shane's cookie? What is your favorite Sugar Shane's flavor? Where else would you like to see Sugar Shane's open?

I have enjoyed several cookies and the chocolate chip cookie is legit. However, I LOVE their banana bread. Glad to see they are having this much success.
