[UPDATE] Popular Arizona Restaurant, Bar and Music Establishment Debuting in Dunwoody This Month

A second Atlanta area location of Culinary Dropout is slated to open later this month in Dunwoody.  The new restaurant is opening in former retail space in the Super Target-anchored Ashford Lane (formerly Perimeter Place) shopping center.  Culinary Dropout joins several other restaurants located at "The Lawn," a now pedestrian only quadrant of the project that is today home to greenspace, water features, outdoor seating, and more.

According to the Culinary Dropout website, the Dunwoody restaurant is currently expected to open February 21.  Atlanta's original Culinary Dropout opened this past November at The Brickworks, a mixed-use project along Marietta Street in West Midtown.  Measuring 9,589 square feet, the new Dunwoody outpost of the Arizona-based chain will be a bit smaller than the West Midtown location which spans about 12,000 square feet across two levels.

The menu at Culinary Dropout is rather diverse with offerings that include assorted meats and cheeses, salads, sandwiches, steak, chicken, pasta, and even a spicy vegan curry entree. The restaurant is known for its baked-to-order Monkey Bread featuring cinnamon apple brioche & vanilla ice cream.  Culinary Dropout also features weekend brunch and live music.

In Dunwoody, Culinary Dropout joins fellow Fox Restaurants Concepts establishment North Italia, which debuted in the former California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) along Ashford Dunwoody Road in August 2022.

In Ashford Lane, Culinary Dropout joins Hobnob, Grana, Hawkers, and Superica on "The Lawn."  Additionally, Politan Row, the new food hall that officially opens today, brings ten new food vendors to the development offering anything from Thai and Soul Food to tacos and Mediterranean fare.

A Birmingham area Culinary Dropout at The Summit was to have opened before Dunwoody, but according to the company's website has now been pushed to March 20.

Have you been to Culinary Dropout?   What is your favorite Fox Restaurant Concepts brand?  Are you pleased with the changes at Ashford Lane?

Sounds like another over-priced non-descript restaurant opening in that development. This won't last long. Too much competition.
