[OPENING ALERT] Caribou Coffee Opening Next Week in Loganville

Caribou Coffee is set to open its latest Atlanta area location Tuesday, March 26 in Loganville. The new, roughly 2,400 square foot coffeehouse, is located at 4360 Atlanta Highway.  As ToNeTo Atlanta exclusively reported this past December, the new Caribou Coffee occupies a former Hardee's, one of more than a dozen that a large franchisee of the burger joint closed in metro Atlanta in 2023.

The corporately-owned Loganville shop will feature both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a drive-thru.  The freestanding coffee shop is located across the street from the Publix-anchored Loganville Town Center.

The menu will include the recently launched spring specials, featuring five new handcrafted beverages made with real lavender. Food choices include breakfast sandwiches and bakery options.

Guests who visit the new location during the Grand Opening celebration – Friday, April 5 to Sunday, April 14 – can take advantage of special offers when ordering in person. The coffee shop will feature a new offer each day including Friday, April 5: The first 100 guests will receive a free tumbler with a purchase; Saturday, April 6: The first 200 guests will receive a free scratch-off with a purchase; and Sunday, April 7: 50% off mocha beverages.  Other giveaways provide a variety of free and discounted menu items as well as bonus points to "Caribou Perks" members for certain purchases.

For every transaction during the grand opening weekend (April 6 and 7), Caribou will donate $1 to Path United, an Atlanta-based nonprofit, "to support their mission of helping kids in at-risk communities become flourishing adults through positive relationships, intentional weekly programming and new ways to enhance education programs beyond the school walls."

There are currently eight Caribou Coffee locations in metro Atlanta: Peachtree and Piedmont in Buckhead, 10th and Piedmont in Midtown, Peachtree Center and Truist Garden (Bridge Level) downtown, Alpharetta Highway (Highway 9) in Milton which opened this past January, and another on Barrett Lakes Boulevard in Kennesaw which opened earlier this month.  There is also a pair of locations at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Caribou is also opening at 580 Peachtree Parkway in a new multi-tenant development not far from The Collection at Forsyth in Cumming.  The coffee shop will occupy an 1,800 square foot endcap space with a drive-thru.  The Cumming location is slated to open later this year.

Real estate sources tell ToNeTo Atlanta that the chain is actively scouting metro Atlanta for additional locations.

Caribou Coffee is owned by German private equity firm JAB Holding Company and is part of Panera Brands, which also includes Panera Bread and Einstein Bros. Bagels.

Are you a fan of Caribou Coffee?  Do you plan to visit the new Caribou Coffee during its "Grand Opening"? Where else in metro Atlanta would you like to see Caribou Coffee open?

  2. Einstein has gotten really boring. Panera is very repetitive. Caribou just makes me yawn. They need some life injected in their brands. Period personally, I like inspire brands because they have many different types of food service concepts starting with Arby’s Buffalo wild wings, sonic Jimmy John’s, dunkin and Baskin Robbins. Very well rounded and diverse portfolio.
