Upstart chicken joint Cozy Coop is crossing county lines and opening a new eatery in Roswell. The new Cozy Coop is opening at 891 Holcomb Bridge Road, a freestanding restaurant building previously home to Hardee's, and before that, El Pollo Loco. The roughly 3,400 square foot drive-thru enabled building was constructed in 2008, according to Fulton County records.
“So much of fast food today is just bland, mass-produced product without personality, presented and served in a way that feels very impersonal,” said Navas, a veteran of such acclaimed Atlanta restaurants as Storico Fresco, ROOM at Twelve, Murphy’s, and Paces & Vine, ahead of the Marietta opening. “We want to prove that you don’t have to settle for that. You can get homestyle cooking made in-house with fresh, all-natural ingredients, all for a reasonable price,” Navas added.
The current Cozy Coop menu includes a variety of chicken piece, tender and wing options as well as ribs and sides like mac 'n cheese, cornbread, crispy okra, "cozy fries" and more. A public hearing notice at the upcoming Roswell location suggests that the new location is looking to offer beer and wine too. An employee at the Marietta restaurant indicated that additional items are likely to be tested/added at the new location but information on that was not available to be shared at this time.
Despite what many would consider to be a less than prime location, Cozy Coop Marietta has seemingly made a name for itself and with nearly 500 reviews on Google and an overall rating of 4.6 stars.
The restaurant's social channels and website both include "USA" suggesting that a potential national expansion could be planned for the future. Thus far, the Roswell unit is the only immediate opening in the pipeline, according to a restaurant employee.
Pending necessary approvals and barring construction delays, plans call for the new Roswell Cozy Coop to open June 1.

10 wings for $20? In a fast-food atmosphere. Called a deal? Hard pass.
And in another post you said fast food wings were no good! What the hell do you want?
They are whole wings so 20 pieces.
They only have whole wings, so double the amount.... don't be a hater.
Be a tater! Like tater tots!
