Shake Shack plans to open its newest Atlanta area restaurant Monday June 30 at The Battery Atlanta. The new restaurant will be unlike any the New York-based brand currently operates with a full bar and expansive patio as well as mini arcade area.
As we hinted at in our original report, the opening is to occur in time for the 2025 MLB All Star week due to begin July 12 in Atlanta and with the All Star Game played July 15 at Truist Park.
The Wahlburgers space at The Battery is likely familiar to Rob Lynch, who last May was named Shake Shack's CEO, having been poached from Papa Johns, whose headquarters are at The Battery. Shack Shack also confirmed earlier this year that it will open its third overall "restaurant support center" at The Battery Atlanta. The company will occupy more than 25,000 square feet of office space and include a state-of-the-art test kitchen and multiple training and meeting places next to the Coca-Cola Roxy.
Shake Shack, which got its start as a food cart in New York's Madison Square Park in 2004, has today grown into a publicly traded company with more than 350 locations across the country and more than 550 worldwide.
In metro Atlanta, Shake Shack currently operates eight units: Buckhead Village District in Buckhead, Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody, EDGE on the Atlanta BeltLine in Old Fourth Ward, Concourse A of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Lenox Square in Buckhead, Alpharetta Crossing in Alpharetta, Piedmont Park, and at Westside Provisions District in West Midtown which opened in December 2022. The Westside location, as at The Battery, replaced another burger joint: YEAH! Burger.

burgers are not bad but are too small for the price. They are closer to sliders.
If you're really that hungry, just order more burgers or add more patties. Krystal Burgers are sliders and are mediocre. These burgers are well-seasoned, provide a reasonable portion, and taste great. It's all about quality over quantity. I'll take that any day over a large, bland burger. Value mediocre burgers can be found at Wendy's, BK, and McDonald's if needed! :)

If you’re really that hungry eat a roll of bologna and a loaf of Wonder Bread with a side of a jar of Miracle Whip at home
If you rate Krystal Burgers at mediocre, it's no wonder you think Shake Shack is the bomb. Shake Shack burgers are medicore. Krystal is blah. I'm seriously contesting their claim of 1/4 pound patties, unless the meat is so fatty that 75% of it just melts away into the grill. $20 would be getting kind of pricey for two sliders.
The issue is that Shake Shack markets them as traditional burgers and prices them as such. But they're actually sliders. Everybody knows Krystal's, as bad as it is, are selling sliders which are priced accordingly.
I've never eaten at Shake Shack. Are their burgers really the size of sliders?
How many times are you going to post the same content? Just asking...

Shake Shack is the most overrated fast food burger joint. Their burgers are just meh and the fries taste like frozen fries you buy at the grocery store. Never understood the hype they get.

They're slightly smaller than a kid's burger at McD,.
