Scoville Hot Chicken, the Atlanta-based quick-service restaurant chain that had in recent years shrunk to just a few locations, is growing again with several new locations in the works.
Upcoming locations include a pair in metro Atlanta and four others out of state, according to the company's website. (The chain reportedly sold in recent years.)
In metro Atlanta, where Scoville previously closed locations in Chamblee, Decatur, West Midtown, Lawrenceville, Peachtree City, and East Cobb, as well as in Athens, among others, new locations are now coming soon to Alpharetta and Milton.
In Alpharetta, Scoville is opening at 4620 Kimball Bridge Road (Kimball Crossing), where the new hot chicken shop will open in place of what had for several years been home to Bagel Boys Cafe, a local bagel eatery. Bagel Boys had opened in the endcap space in September 2010, before closing this past August after a reported rent increase.
The Milton location will open in place of a former freestanding Arby's at 5160 Windward Parkway. The Milton Arby's closed in April of 2025 and was one of several that the "meats" chain closed in metro Atlanta over the past eighteen months or so.
The Scoville Buckhead location on Piedmont Road remains in business while the original Sandy Springs location (which first opened in December 2020) closed and "moved" to within the existing Mutation Brewing just outside I-285. Another location is situated within children's amusement facility Tiny Towne on Beaver Ruin Road in Norcross.
In addition to the upcoming metro Atlanta units, the website indicates that new locations are also planned for Charlotte, NC, New Brunswick and Newark, NJ, and Shelby Township, Michigan.
