Twisted Taco Setting Up Shop in Smyrna

Following the closure of the Twisted Taco on George Busbee Parkway in Kennesaw about a month ago, the chain will again grow, not far away, in Smyrna. Located in Highland Station near South Cobb Drive and the East West Connector, the new Twisted Taco is to open by October. I'm hesitant to believe this estimate as I was told that the new location in Emory Village would be open months ago and that has not happened, nor do I see an opening imminent. The new Smyrna location will be located adjacent to a Publix anchored shopping center that is close to Smyrna Bicycles and the to the Silver Comet Trail. This opening is in line with the chain's current growth plans following the sale and closure of their original location in Midtown. The chain's management team intends to grow the chain by franchising, focusing on outlying suburbs of the Atlanta metro area. Within the past 18 months, additional locations have opened in Buckhead near Chastain Park, in Tucker near Northlake Mall and in Dunwoody across from Perimeter Mall in addition to their existing location on Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell. Any idea what will be going into the new development across the street? Corner of South Cobb and the Connector?
