AAA Car Care Plus will soon open its fifth Atlanta area location.
Having already opened locations in Toco Hill, Roswell, Johns Creek and Marietta, the car care facility will now open in Buckhead.
AAA Car Care Buckhead will be on Roswell Road near Wieuca Road, and will have a new building built on the site of a former Just Brakes. The land was home to Lucy's Market before she was forced to relocate to West Paces Ferry in anticipation of a planned Pollo Tropical in late 2010. After months of debate and neighborhood squabbling over issues with a proposed Wieca Road drive-thru access in the rear, the Miami-based restaurant chain abandoned their plans for the location. Given the obstacles any food user would encounter, I think it's for the best that AAA is coming in to use the space.
AAA Car Care Plus offers car care in addition to maps, insurance and travel arrangements. The location at Toco Hill, in a former Blockbuster, is already expanding because it has proven to be so popular. It would seem equally as likely that the north Buckhead location where this new shop is opening will be quite successful as well. No word on an opening date yet, but I anticipate them opening sometime early next year.

I think the Toco Hill location is expanding so it can start offering membership services and travel arrangements, etc., not because it is "so popular".
