Former Shipfeifer Becoming Soufi's

Shipfeifer Mediterranean on Peachtree Road in south Buckhead was leased earlier this week by the Shumacher group and will open later this year as Soufi's, a fast casual Persian eatery. Shipfeifer, the predecessor to Gyro Wrap and later Great Wraps, was a longstanding Buckhead hotspot since 1974 but closed over a year ago. Late last year, there a building permit posted on the building announcing that it would re-open as a Gyro Wrap, that plan fell through. Rumi's Kitchen on Roswell Road does great Persian so it will be interesting to see how this place does in a more casual setting. ToNeTo Atlanta
