Ermenegildo Zegna Confirmed At Lenox Square

As usual, you heard it here first!

Today came the official announcement that Ermenegildo Zegna will open a new 3,917 s/f boutique at Lenox Square next Spring. Readers of this site will recall that I first reported this nearly two years ago and have kept you apprised of the progress every step of the way. As recently as last month I reported that they would likely open in the shuttered Rowdy space. The picture to the right is of the space just after Rowdy's closure, its currently occupied by "Natural Beauty Spa Boutique." Since my first report of Zegna's intention to enter the Atlanta market, they opened a boutique on Concourse A of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport last summer. ToNeTo Atlanta

Hello Jimmy,

As you can see from the included links and from my earlier post, I was the first in the city to have news on their potential opening over 18 months ago. I have continued to follow updates regarding their opening and today, before the ABC, I was the first in the city to confirm the opening and the exact location of their upcoming boutique within Lenox Square. Make no mistake, ToNeTo Atlanta has has been and will continue to be the source for metro Atlanta retail, restaurant and hotel news before other print and online media.

As always, thanks for the comment and for reading.

Old news already ...

I'm really disappointed with Zegna, Phipps Plaza would have been a better location for Ermenegildo Zegna, Fendi, and Bulgari. Lenox is such a mess its semi upscale and ghetto at the same time. I really hate shopping at Lenox there should be a door fee like they have in India .. that will keep the hood rats out.

I agree that these luxury retailers should have located in Phipps Plaza and not semi ghetto Lenox Square. After all Phipps Plaza was built specifically for high end luxury retail.
Now, has anyone heard anything about Prada opening up a boutique at Lenox Square in 2011? It's on the all but not so famous wikipedia Lenox Square site and if no one has heard anything I am going to remove it since I am a member of wikipedia.com

Hello Kenneth,

It's been a while since I'd heard from you on here, good to see you are still enjoying the site, I always enjoyed your comments and insight and hope to see more.

With regards to your Prada question. I spoke with Simon's PR firm yesterday, KCPR, and while they would not confirm Prada when I asked, they did not deny it either. I have sources within the mall itself and can tell you, with the utmost of certainty and honesty that Prada will in fact open at Lenox but not till next Spring. The space they are taking is next to Ferragamo and is currently Godiva. (Godvia is unaware they will have to relocate) I hope that you will trust me on this as you have been a fan of my scoop for years now and know that 99% of the time, I'm spot on with my stories.

Thanks again for the question and for reading the blog.

ps, please see this post for additional details...
