Dallas-based Which Wich?, with 5 locations currently open in the Atlanta area and a sixth under way at Atlantic Station, will add a seventh early next year at TOWN Brookhaven. This past summer, the chain opened in a former W. g. Grinders on Windward Parkway in Alpharetta, and will open in the coming weeks at Atlantic Station. The Atlantic Station location may be familiar to some, as it was originally set to be the relocated Wolf Camera from 14th Street, but that never materialized.
While I heard rumblings of Which Wich?'s intentions to open at TOWN Brookhaven months ago, only this week did I receive confirmation of their planned opening. The tenant list at TOWN Brookhaven has changed greatly from its original incarnation in 2007, but I'm told Sembler has been working hard to bring some exciting restaurants to the project so here's hoping for a tasty 2011! Atlanta Bread Co., which I'd heard was considering a location in TB, would seem now to be off the table with the Which Wich? opening.
Thus far, an upscale Slack's Hoagie Shack, Moe's Southwest Grill and Costco Wholesale are the only tenants open, but the Publix and Noche towards the front are both under construction and said to be on track for early spring openings. Olive Bistro, Cafe at Pharr and the Flying Biscuit all have signs up but show no signs of progress inside. ToNeTo Atlanta
