Given the size of the space, the pizzeria should be cozy and may be the perfect size for the area. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but La Fourchette has managed well, and hopefully parking will continue to run smoothly with the addition of the second concept.
With all the great pizza shops in town, the heart of Buckhead really only has Fellini's, which is not gourmet by any means.
Blue Moon Pizza, currently with two locations in Marietta and Smyrna, will add a third location in Buckhead in the ground level of the 325 condos on Paces Ferry Road. Riccardo Ullio was supposedly opening a second Fritti location, adjacent to the St. Regis Hotel, but those plans have been scrapped for now. Jeff Varasano's "Varasano's Pizzeria" in south Buckhead has done well, but remains a little challenged by its location with a far from full condo-to-apartment converted building.
Blue Moon is well underway with their build-out, and from the looks of the space, may be open within a month or so. As for Tartufo, a restaurant representative claims they will be open in three weeks, but from my observations of the space this past weekend, I'm thinking it may be closer to five weeks of work left to do.

I work in the area - there is a Buckhead pizza and Piu Bello within walking distance of there.
Right you are. I work nearby as well and don't really think of them, especially Buckhead Pizza Co., when I think of pizza. To be fair, Pizzeria Venti is in the area as well, down Lenox Road.
Thanks for the comment and for reading the blog!
Blue Moon Opening at the Bottom of Paces 325 as well...did I miss that post?
@ Anon,
No missed post I just don't repeat news.
