New Zealand born and New York-based fashion designer Rebecca Taylor will soon open her boutique at Phipps Plaza. The new store, a first for Atlanta, and only the 8th in the country, is opening on the first level of the posh Buckhead mall.
The Rebecca Taylor store is opening in a portion of the former Barney's New York CoOp. Watchmaker Omega will open to its left, and a relocated and enlarged Tory Burch will open to the right, all three sharing the former Barney's space.
Though the store is not yet open, and as usual, SIMON guest services was utterly unhelpful, I stopped by to have a look. Despite paper covering basically the entire front, I was able to get a glimpse of the interior. Aside from the visible ladder and a few boxes in the back, the store looks like it could open by the weekend.
Currently Rebecca Taylor is only available at the likes of Neiman-Marcus and smaller boutiques like Sandpiper. Are you a fan of the brand? Are you eager to visit this new boutique?
