Cooler Temperatures Find Ray's New York Pizza on Ice in Sandy Springs

Ray's New York Pizza Closed

Ray's New York Pizza has closed their Sandy Springs location.  The pizza restaurant, located on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs Plaza, closed last week after over ten years in business.  The restaurant was located on the north corner of the center that also features Trader Joes and Party City, among its larger tenants.

The space Ray's occupied was a mere 1,705 square feet and I'm told property management hopes to combine their space with at least one other nearby and lease the two as a single space to a non food related tenant.

Though the phone is not yet disconnected, a message stating "Unfortunately, Ray's Sandy Springs is no longer in business.  Please check out Buckhead Kennesaw, Alpharetta and Midtown" can be heard when the restaurant's number is dialed.

The four remaining Ray's in Atlanta have at least two different owner, according to an employee reached at the Buckhead location.  The Buckhead location, which a few months ago opened in place of Tartufo, is owned by someone other than the former operator of the Sandy Springs restaurant.
