Your Pie Wants Your Pizza Dollars Near Perimeter

Customizable pizza coming to Perimeter

Athens, Georgia-based Your Pie plans to open its latest metro Atlanta location at Perimeter Place in the former Five Guys burger space.  The new Your Pie is being opened by franchisee Morgan Maclellan. Maclellan is a 2010 UGA Terry College of Business graduate with a BBA in risk management and insurance.

Your Pie was started by Drew French in Athens in 2008 and today has grown to over 20 locations in  four states.  The chain's first ITP location opened early last month uin a former Johnny Rockets / Lime Fresh Mexican Grill space on West Paces Ferry Road in the heart of Buckhead.

Two other Your Pie locations are in the works for Suwanee and Snellville.  In Suwanee, Your Pie will open in Suwanee Promenade, near the intersection of Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road and Satellite Boulevard.  In Snellville, Your Pie will join Sprouts Farmers Market at The Shoppes at Webb Gin on Scenic Highway.

Atlanta-based Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint is closing in on 30 locations in ten states.  About half of the existing Uncle Maddio's locations are located in Georgia, including one in the Walmart anchored Perimeter Village shopping center on Ashford-Dunwoody Road, about a mile away from the upcoming Your Pie.

The new Your Pie locations in Dunwoody and Suwanee are expected to open in mid-October.  The Your Pie in Snellville is expected to open late this month.

Have you been to Your Pie?  How does Your Pie compare to Uncle Maddios Pizza Joint?  Where is your favorite place for individual pizzas?

Please share your thoughts below.

Your Pie is ok, not great, but will fill a void in the Perimeter area so it should do well. CPK is overpriced and takes too long, Galla's isn't that good, and Uncle Maddio's is around the corner and I think on par with Your Pie.

Lousy Parking area. Is this the same concept as Uncle Maddio's ?

I thought all pizza was "customizable". Except for Varuna Napoli where its kind of like the soup nazi... you get it how they make it. In all fairness, a group I went with did have a couple that requested a different sausage or something and the restaurant did comply. After consulting with two folks, including the manager. And, they did finally had a grated cheese that you can get upon request. Of course, its not just typical parmesan. All that aside, they make great pizza!

Great news for the Snellville - Shoppes @ Webb Gin area. I have never eaten at Your Pie, but any dining addition to our under served market is welcome. Your Pie should do well. Thanks!

Uncle Maddio's simply can't be beat! Your pie is okay, but Uncle Maddio's is just a better concept

Uncle Maddio's is okay. I find Your Pie of generally higher quality. Both good - but it's Your Pie for my money.
