A Steady Stream of New Chains Are Heading to Johns Creek

A host of new chains are coming to Johns Creek

Atlanta-based Riverwood Properties has secured leases with a number of new businesses to open in their upcoming Johns Creek Promenade center on Medlock Bridge Road in Johns Creek.

The new center is part of Johns Creek Walk Phase II. Johns Creek Walk consists of multi-family units, a senior living community, private residences, senior living apartments (under construction), and professional offices/retail.  Johns Creek Promenade is located at the intersection of Medlock Bridge Road and Johns Creek Parkway.  The new center is located between Abbotts Bridge Road and McGinnis Ferry Road.

According to the property's website, Johns Creek Promenade will welcome:

Dunkin' Donuts (2,100 s/f)

Zoës Kitchen (2,940 s/f)
Moe's Southwest Grill (2,560 s/f)
The Original Mattress Factory (2,760 s/f)
Salon Lofts (4,080 s/f)
Jersey Mikes (1,600 s/f)
Burger 21 (3,000 s/f)

In addition to the executed leases, there are four other spaces that total another 5,360 square feet still available.

What tenant are you most excited about? How many shared salon spaces can a city support?  Who else would you most like to see open?

Please share your thoughts below.

It looks like a good mix that will draw lunch crowds from offices across Medlock Bridge Road. Zoës Kitchen is a question mark, as there is a Grecian Gyro in the center next door and a Fresh To Order nearby. That center next door has trouble keeping non-national restaurant chains. That should be troubling for Zoës. And Burger 21 will be surrounded by Smashburger to the south and Cheeseburger Bobby’s to the north (and Five Guys a little further north). If I’m right about these burger places going the way of frozen yogurt places soon, Burger 21 is in trouble. If Maggiano’s were to open a freestanding location away from a mall, the area around here would be perfect, with its mix of offices and homeowners with money (although a better location might be in The Collection at Forsyth, The Forum on Peachtree Parkway, or Avalon).

This is less than 5 miles away from an existing Zoey's at the Forumn (or whatever its call next to Sprouts) Interesting.

This is so EXCITING! These are such good restaurants that will so great for the Johns Creek Community. So glad to have more options for lunch as I work at technology park. I can't wait for it all to open.

Zoes Kitchen is completely different from Grecian Gyro & Fresh to Order. Zoes will hurt those two restaurants. Burger 21 is a new restaurant entering the Atlanta market that will be sure to stay! Watch out smashburger!

The Original Mattress Factory is a great company. Factory direct real value; 2-sided mattresses last longer; no pushy salespeople; no pressure to "buy today" and no phony sales.

I make the trek from Windward down to Grecian Gyro a few times a month. It's a decent gyro with a generous portion. They have a loyal following and will do fine, even with Zoes nearby.

Burger21 will also survive. Keep in mind that Windward is awash in fast-casual burger joints, none of which have closed. While Smashburger, Bobby's and Five Guys are on Peachtree Parkway, they are miles away.

Bwhaha....the fact that people are debating this is beyond comical.

"This is so exciting" - Yes, adding an even greater concentration of mediocrity to the world's most mediocre places is...nope, not exciting.
