Burger King to Bless Kennesaw and Suwanee With New Locations

The new Burger King restaurants are likely to look like this
Franchise group planning two new Burger King restaurants.

Atlanta-based GPS Hospitality plans to open two new Burger King restaurants in metro Atlanta.  The two locations are planned for Kennesaw and Suwanee.

In Kennesaw, a 2,500 square foot square foot Burger King will be built on Barrett Lakes Boulevard, near its intersection with Chastain Road.  The restaurant will replace a long-abandoned Citgo gas station and will be situated alongside existing Arby's and Taco Bell restaurants.

In Suwanee, a new approximately 3,300 square foot Burger King will be built on a vacant outparcel on Lawrenceville- Suwanee Road.  The outparcel was at one point going to be a Ruby Tuesday a few years ago, but those plans failed to materialize.  The restaurant would be situated between existing outparcel locations of PNC Bank and Ultra Car Wash in from of the Office Depot-anchored Suwanee Depot shopping center.   Interestingly, the new Burger King is opening about a half a mile from where a former Burger King recently reopened as a Denny's.

GPS Hospitality was established in 2012 and following an acquisition this past fall of 60 existing locations in Michigan, operates about 200 Burger King restaurants in seven states.

Where would you like to see a Burger King open next?  What other restaurants or businesses would you like to see open in Suwanee?  What is your favorite fast food burer joint?

Wish they would build one in East Cobb. Maybe in the old McDonald's near the big chicken. Yum.
