Burgers returning to Vinings Jubilee.
Stockyard Burgers & Bones, currently with a single location in Marietta Square, will be expanding to include a second location in Vinings. The burger joint has signed a lease to open in the former Noche Tequila & Tapas Bar. The Noche space has been vacant since Here to Serve's collapse and sudden closure this past fall.
Stockyard features a menu of assorted black Angus beef, sushi-grade tuna, pork and veggie burgers, as well as a variety of salads, ribs, steak and chicken dishes. The Marietta location also features a full bar with "over 40 whiskeys & bourbons." I'm told that the Vinings location will be very similar to the Marietta location, but will sport some new, localized menu additions.
Scott Kinsey and his wife Alexis are co-owners of Fork U Concepts, LLC. Fork U Concepts includes the six-unit Taqueria Tsunami chain, as well as Stockyard Burgers & Bones, and Pressed Panini Bar, both in the Marietta Square.
The Marietta location of Stockyard opened in late 2014.
Stockyard's opening in Vinings Jubilee marks the return of a burger-centric restaurant following the closures of The Burger Club (now Another Broken Egg Cafe) and to a lesser degree, Garrison's Broiler & Tap (now Paces & Vine).
Sources say Stockyard is on track to open sometime in June.

As I was first to report in February, Steak 101, a new steakhouse from 101 Concepts, will be opening soon in the former Social Vinings not far from Stockyard.
Are you excited for the return of local burgers to Vinings? Have you tried Stockyard in Marietta, and if so, how was it? What other retailers or restaurants would you like to see open in the Vinings area?

I frequent the location in Marietta and the menu includes great burgers, ribs and chops. In addition they serve some craft beers that are pretty tasty.
I've been to the Marietta location, and the food is good. I think it will fit in nicely with the other Vinings restaurants at a moderate price point. There are a few other burger options-Grub Burger & US Cafe, but the Stockyard concept is a little different. The Marietta location is a full service restaurant vs. counter ordering.
