[PRIME TIME] Succulent Hospitality to Open PRIME 120 in Downtown Woodstock This Fall

Residents of Woodstock will get their wish this fall when PRIME 120 opens in downtown Woodstock. The new steakhouse will open at 120 Chambers Street where it replaces Fire Stone Wood Fired Pizza & Grill which closed in June after about eight years in business.  PRIME 120 is being opened by Jason Sheetz and William Sigley of Succulent Hospitality.
Terry Morris, Cheri Morris, William Sigley and Jason Sheetz

The duo of Sheetz and Sigley were brought in by a private investor to open Fire Stone in 2011, but have not been involved in the concept for "several years" according to Cheri Morris, president of Morris & Fellows and owner of the property.  The partners met when they worked under Atlanta Chef Tom Catherall, owner of Here to Serve Restaurants. Sheetz’ experience also includes Bones and Blue Ridge Grill in Buckhead; while early in his career, Sigley worked in Las Vegas with chefs such as Wolfgang Puck and Todd English.

PRIME 120 will be Succulent Hospitality's third full-service restaurant and sixth concept overall.  Hammocks Trading Company, a seafood restaurant, was the group's first restaurant.  It opened in summer 2012 along Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.  Under the Cork Tree, a Mediterranean tapas style restaurant, was the group's second concept, which opened at The Prado shopping center on Roswell Road in early 2016.

Earlier this year, Succulent opened three "virtual restaurants" [Top Bun Gourmet Burgers and Fries, Salad Hippie, and Fatback's Meat and Three] that occupy a single space adjacent to Hammock's offering food for delivery only via various delivery partners.

PRIME 120 will feature a 4,650 square foot interior and a 2,200 square foot patio.  Succulent's owners plan to make some modifications to the interior, but given it was so recently used as a full service restaurant, it will not need the serious time and permitting that tends to delay the opening of many restaurants.

In a phone call with ToNeTo Atlanta Tuesday morning, Morris referred to PRIME 120 as a "regional destination steakhouse," adding that locals had been requesting a steakhouse in the area for a long time.

“The menu will take a unique twist on the traditional steakhouse in an upscale atmosphere,” says Jason Sheetz, co-owner of Succulent Hospitality.

“We’ll be utilizing Italian wood fire ovens to create mouthwatering prime steaks and seafood in a vibrant setting. We’ll also have a private dining room that seats up to 30 people, and a patio with the signature stack fireplace, sure to bring a crowd in the fall.”

“We have known Jason and William for years.  They do an outstanding job with their restaurants and we have talked for some time about what a great addition they would be to downtown Woodstock,” said Cheri Morris, president of Morris & Fellows and owner of the property. “Woodstock needs a world-class steakhouse, and these are the right men to bring it.”

Succulent hopes to join the ranks of other local restaurateurs who have found success in providing a high quality steakhouse to a local community such as F&H Food Trading Group and their Little Alley Steak in Roswell (and now Buckhead), Word of Mouth Restaurants with their Arnette's Chop Shop in Brookhaven and Peter Kaiser and his Kaiser's Chophouse in Sandy Springs, among others.

Current plans call for PRIME 120 to open in October.

Will be interesting to see a lifted pickup with truck nuts rolling coal in front of Prime 120.

Hoping for really good food, but also an interior as beautiful as Under the Cork Tree.

Yes, i think it's great to have a nice upscale steakhouse (yet with an relaxed environment) in our backyard. I was searching for somewhere different to eat on my birthday Thursday. You opened just in time. Welcome to the community!

Steakhouses are great, but it would be great to have another lunch place. Something that is fast/takeout, affordable and has good food. Getting tired of the same old things downtown. Another highend dinner place is not what we need.
