Your Pie Buckhead has permanently closed . The quick-serve pizza restaurant at 5 West Paces Ferry Road first opened in July 2014 and was at that time the 19th location for the Athens-based quick-serve pizza chain. The Buckhead restaurant's last day in business was Tuesday, March 10. Real estate sources indicate that the space has been marketed for lease for "some time," with other sources telling ToNeTo Atlanta that there are at least two parties interested in the approximately 2,000 square foot freestanding space.
The closure, as of March 11, seems strategic when you consider that the company's annual "Pie Day" promotion is this coming Saturday, March 14 "3.14" where the company offers their pizzas for $3.14 and often sees tremendous crowds.
Your Pie is now the third restaurant to fail in the premier parking deprived space along busy West Paces Ferry Road. Johnny Rockets closed in 2012 after many years in business and was replaced by then Ruby Tuesday-backed Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, a Florida-based quick-serve Mexican eatery. Lime Fresh lasted less than a year before sitting vacant for more than a year ahead of Your Pie's opening.
The Buckhead Your Pie closure is the second in just the past several months following the closure of the outpost at Perimeter Place in Dunwoody this past September.
The Athens pizza restaurant currently has more than sixty locations open with dozens more in development. In metro Atlanta, where they, along with bankrupt Uncle Maddio's Pizza, had the advantage of being "first movers," chain operations such as MOD Pizza and Blaze Pizza have both entered the market with several locations.
Following the Buckhead closure, Your Pie continues to operate several locations in metro Atlanta including franchises in Roswell, Grant Park, Smyrna and one of their newest, at Embry Village on Chamblee Tucker Road near Tucker.
Are you surprised to see Your Pie close in Buckhead? What is your favorite quick serve pizza restaurant? What would you like to see open in place of Your Pie in Buckhead?

quick-serve pizza is disgusting. hope more closures come.
Save your money and tastebuds and go to vintage pizza or corner pizza. Stay away from any pizzeria that has the word New York style in it’s title they aren’t authentic just posers. With that said I am now going to order a pizza!
Former Employee here, infact I was one the last employees and was at the meeting they held to let us know that we were losing our jobs. No prior notice and no severance though we were promised that. We did our best to keep those doors open despite everything corporate put us through.
